The international Dietetic Congress, ICND2024, 12-14 June, Toronto, is approaching.
It would be a nice opportunity to meet!
We will represent EFAD with 2 contributions to the congress.
– Lecture on our EFAD Budapest Resolution (The Human Right to Nutritional Care: EFADs Call to Action!, Thursday June 13, 2024, 10:00-11.30)
– Panel discussion on Professional Development (Sharing Continuous Professional Development: A European Experience. Thursday June 13, 2024, 12:30-14:00)
We have also shared our EFAD activities on ‘sustainability’ for the ICDA workshop (Supporting Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Networks in your National Dietetic Association, Wednesday June 12, 13:00-14.30)
And we support a research activity, developed after the event last year in Dublin (Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) in Nutrition & Dietetics Education at University College Dublin, Ireland 7–8 th June 2023) and is a pre-survey ahead of a co-design workshop on advancing SFS education at ICND2024. (With plans to pilot and test for presenting results at ICND Dublin 2028).
Questions:
I’m wondering if any of you, or your colleagues, will be joining the congress.
It might be a nice opportunity to meet each other.
But I would also like to ask if you would like to contribute to our sessions.
Either give us input on local actions and results regarding the EFAD Budapest Resolution and/or
Share your national experiences on Professional Development with our panel, as an audience and/ or provide us with input in advance.
Another question is whether you could share the survey on Sustainable Food Systems with your members. Attached is some text you can use for the distribution.
And of course, we are curious to hear about your possible contributions to the congress.
Maybe we can include it in our communications.
